Infections

Infectious diseases

Infections are contagious diseases that mainly affect people whose immune systems are weakened. There are harmless infections, but also serious ones that can even be fatal. As a rule, pathogens such as colds, flu and coronavirus are transmitted by droplets or by body fluids such as saliva, urine or stools. But they can also be transmitted through water, creatures or their eggs.
The most important protection against infectious diseases is a healthy lifestyle, good personal hygiene, a balanced diet and prudent behaviour.
Our medical care clinic is equipped for extensive diagnostics and treatment of all common infectious diseases. We treat viral infections symptomatically and with antiviral substances. We can also vaccinate you against many viral diseases. We treat bacterial diseases symptomatically and, if necessary, with antibiotics.
